Meet Michael O'Malley

Michael O'Malley is President and Owner of Personal Protection Consultants, Inc. of Kulpsville, PA. Since 1990, Personal Protection Consultants has offered personal safety and security consultations to organizations such as police, corporations, security, correctional, and civic agencies. Mike and PPCI Training recently took over the administration of the OCAT® and PATHTM Training programs.
Mike served a total of 15 years as a Pennsylvania municipal police officer, five of those years as a detective. He also worked for three years as a correctional officer. He was a Police Defensive Tactics Instructor for over twenty years and has been an Instructor for the Montgomery County, PA Police Academy for over six years. Mike is also certified in Pennsylvania as an Instructor in Municipal Police Training and Lethal Weapons Training Acts (120 and 235).
He is a certified instructor trainer in several nationally recognized training programs such as Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB®), Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training (OCAT®), PATHTM, Monadnock Expandable Baton, and CASCO Expandable Baton.
Mike has trained and certified thousands of civilians, security and law enforcement personnel in corporations, schools, police agencies, civic organizations, hospitals, correctional facilities, military and other federal institutions in all aspects of personal safety. |
