The International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) is taking a lead role of honoring the lives of those who gave their life and by preventing the deaths of additional officers through professional law enforcement instructor training. The ILEETA Trinity of Dedication consists of ILEETA, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), and the ILEETA Scholarship Fund.

The Trinity is an important way of dedicating the association’s focus to the NLEOMF and The ILEETA Scholarship Fund. All money raised is evenly split between the NLEOMF and the ILEETA Scholarship Fund, which pays for “train the trainer” training programs. There are no administrative costs or overhead, which allows for the donation of all money raised. Training instructors also maximizes the training dollar, since trainers can share their knowledge or skills with all officers.

The Trinity allows ILEETA take a very active role in honoring officers’ lives and preventing law enforcement officer line of duty deaths.
